Martin and Nancy are here exploring the country getting ready for their move to BA.  Nancy and I have been spending time looking at anything I think she needs to know or see before she gets here.  Life here is so different than other countries.  The town alone has over 8 million people.  Driving is not easy and getting lost is very easy.

Today is our day to look at houses for them to rent.  The kitchen has a apartment size stove and oven yech.  can’t cook much at one time.  Especially bad when we have guests over.  and forget getting a turkey in the oven, just won’t fit, IF we could even find a turkey.  This country is more European than the others I have lived.

We went to see 5 houses but only got into 4, of the 4 only one would I approve to live in as it has a decent kitchen stove.  But none had a real area for a clothes dryer. would have to use my clothes dryer that does not vent.  takes longer to dry.  She figured if they can’t find better just as well stay in my house.  I am sure there is what she wants and needs out there.
