I sewed special dresses for Ella and Isabel for Halloween along a matching dress for Isabel’s doll.  They were Elsa and Anna from the movie Frozen.  Ella is very picky about “itchy” so  I lined her dress completely to make sure nothing could ever bother her.  Anna “Isabel”  loved the cape as it was a little cool that evening but Elsa “Ella” wore her flip-flops and enjoyed the weather. At the first house the guy told them wait a minute then came back out with very large candy bars. He had asked them a couple days before what their favorite candy was and Ella let him know she was allergic to peanuts and loved “hershey” Isabel said kitkat.   As we were walking Ella was holding her bag and she said “I got a butt load of candy”  yep butt load as I said before you never know what she will say.  after walking for what felt like miles we came onto a house in a cul-de-sac with a guy sitting out in drive way, when the girls headed that way he yelled at his wife “hurry out we finally got trick or treaters”  so after that I would tell all I would see go that direction.

We returned to the house and Kelli was worried that nobody would come as it was getting late when Ella stood out in the street watching she yelled at her mother “there are a butt load of people coming”   but truthfully not that many came and Josh said maybe next year he would take a wagon with the candy loaded in it and give it out as they went.  Great idea.
