Shannon and family arrived in time to celebrate the New Years. Brian and his girlfriend came to visit Duston and Jen and Christy and Tommy (Stef’s friend). we had a great time. Dennis cooked a ham and turkey which we cut up to make sandwiches. Shannon cooked the jalepenos stuffed with sausage. we had several dips etc.
Dennis started the heater on the porch to have an area to sit and talk also had the TV going with a game for men. the girls and myself played Phase 10 on the cards while another group played poker while waiting for the new year to arrive. At midnight we all gave a champagne toast .
Shannon and family left the 2nd to go to Watonga all the while all of us worried as they talked about how awful the weather was suppose to get. NOTHING happened and they were able to safely arrive in Watonga to visit Steve’s mother.
