Dennis and I have been busy building out on our farm.
We have a loafing shed framed but no siding too darn cold or windy.
Now we are building shooting range. We took our trailer to a local tire shop and he gave us all we wanted. He said he hoped we would bring the trailer back to load up again. It would cost him $5 per tire to depose them correctly. We then went to Atwoods and bought railroad ties to build a wall to attach our targets. Little by little we will have it done.
Our next part we went to Walters and picked up electric poles they gave us to make the rifle part of the range. The guys were great, loaded them on our trailer which is 18 ft then trimmed the poles to fit. We hauled back 10 poles for now.
David Harris and I drove into town with our trailer to fill it up with tires and I called a company I know to bring dirt for us to fill the tires. We first stacked the poles up then put the tires behind the post layer by layer while I filled each layer with dirt. ![]()
