ON April 5, 2016  Dennis officially retired from HP after 39 years of working all over South America.  We went to Venezuela in March 1977 and never slowed down, moving to Guatemala Oct. 1981, then to Colombia 1985, back to Venezuela 1986, on the Ecuador 1989,  then in 1995 back to Venezuela before moving to  Argentina 2009.  Dennis then worked out of HP office in Tulsa since 2014.  It has been a great life.  Made great friends over the years including the bosses in Tulsa.

HP had a great party with old friends coming to see us.  Had a great visit with John Lindsay about the farm.  Hans Helmerich came and gave Dennis a present that his father had ordered years ago in Bloomingdales.  HP cufflinks and tie tack.  I thought that was so sweet.  HP gave him a lighter engraved that Steve Sparks figured Dennis would like.  In the evening we went to a new restaurant called Bull in the Alley with Steve Sparks and Flori and Mike and Maria Huff.  Truly it is in the alley downtown Tulsa.  Very interesting place and fun to be with old friends.
