We decided to buy a new motorhome so started driving around looking for one. In McClains in OKC they had a 2016 Monaco Dynasty that was previously given to Chicago Cubs manager Joe Madden. He kept it one year and was given a deal with Winnebago grand tour. McClains had the Monaco for sale for a pretty good price about what we planned to spend with trade in so paid for it and spent the night in it to check it out as it had a 30 day warranty We had trouble leveling it after the kid took it to wash it and the check engine light was on so off to shop. We went back a week later to get it and go to Conroe and waited all day to leave with it from freightliner repair shop. At 5 ish we were given the keys hooked up suburban ready to leave but couldn’t as the front right airbags would not air up. Got a tech there to drive back to McClains with it The tech decided it was in the hydraulics system and ordered a new pump said it would take at least 3 weeks to get the part. Left us mad. We ended up driving to Conroe and stayed in a Best Western.
On our way back home we looked at the Winnebago Tour and Grand Tour decided the Tour is our kind the grand tour had crappy closets. Any way the Monaco had also been back to freightliner for 3 rd time for check engine light and the pump had not been fixed we decided what else could go bad and changed to the Winnebago Tour pissed OKC off but made friends in Ft Worth. Waited a week to pick it up and now have a list of repairs to be done naturally!!!
