We had to of course take another trip to Forest City for them to fix the awning they tore and the door they scratched. Headed out on Monday August 23, 2021. It always took us 3 days to get to Winnebago not trying to rush and get over tired plus you never know about traffic. First night stopped off in Joplin KOA. Then headed out to DesMoines west Koa. Kind of out of way but we know our big monster rig will fit in KOA as it is close to 45 ft. Then on Wednesday not far up to Forest City where Winnebago provides electricity only so we had to be careful with our water and septic. Thursday morning we had to be over at the office to turn in to our guy at 7 am. Now if you knew Dennis since he retired when he wakes up he has to drink coffee and watch news for 1 hr. Yep 1 hr. Then off to shower and get dressed before cooking breakfast (yes he cooks) so you can imagine how early we have to get up to be at the office at 7 am.

We drop off the motorhome at 7 am and headed to our favorite breakfast place, Sally’s to enjoy a nice breakfast Dennis got worried as it was closed when we got there but I looked and saw it didn’t open until 7:30 am. Calmed him down lol.

We had landed on finally playing golf in Forest City but they were practicing for a pro am tournament so we headed off to Mason City to kill time as couldn’t pick up RV until 3 pm. It ended up raining so we couldn’t have played anyway. We enjoy going to Fleet Farm shop around as it has a little bit of everything.

Went to pick up RV and they did fix door awning but the door in bedroom they couldn’t change out as the new door they ordered was the wrong size. We figure Hunee (the boss) was worried we would be mad but we were glad they didn’t want us to stay longer.
